Let us all welcome the winner of Future Pharmacy, the international call for entries launched in collaboration with Th.Kohl. Almost 170 people joined this challenge, with 174 entries all exploring new concepts for the pharmacy of the future.
Interestingly, every participant truly put her/his unique perspective into it, exploring this wide theme from various points of view. The fact that people from 45 countries took part in the contest really explains also the great diversity between the various proposals.
In fact, the contest was looking for new furniture/architecture concepts for the pharmacy of the future, meant as a “space dedicated to the customer experience” where relationships between people and attention to the person is at the core of the whole design.
Today, we are very proud to present you the winning project selected by Th.Kohl.
Let us greet…

Green Mesh
Green Mesh truly embodies the perfect fusion between the pharmacy as is traditionally considered and the retail future of wellness, where the relationship client-patient gains the greatest importance and the new technologies become the tool to further enhance the effectiveness. All set in an environment inspired by the natural meditation, by the wellness of the environmental sustainability, by the purity of a timeless space (comment by Th.Kohl).
The seamless union between tradition and modern technology serves as starting point for a proposal that aims to create a very versatile experience, that goes from high-tech to the traditional customer service. The mesh unique adaptative capacities, that together with natural and reusable materials, provide a modern and recognizable look, in a design that aims to serve the human scale and provides a costumer centered design, comfortable and adapted to the individual necessities of each user.
