Glad to announce the winners of Name the ADV, the international call for entries launched in collaboration with IGP Decaux on Desall.com! This contest was addressed to any creative, either a designer, an architect, a marketer, a copywriter… anyone who wanted to tackle the challenge of.. well, naming a series of advertising products marketed by the client.
In fact, all participants were invited to name various products belonging to three categories:
– Dinamica bus, trolleybus and tram;
– Digital (Digital out of Home);
– Metropolitana (subway).
Each category contained various adv products with different characteristics. Accordingly the name was meant to:
– Preferably be written in English (or in Italian);
– Be intuitive, that is allow the client to easily understand the product typology s/he is willing to purchase;
– Be short, that is use the least possible words and a limited number of characters;
– Be easily remembered, so to allow the client to clearly remember the desired product;
– Be easily communicable, that is written in an understandable language, simple and not technical.
– Possibly be coherent with one another, even if belonging to different categories.
Altogether 95 participants took part in the contest with 281 entries. Today we’re glad to announce the three winners and one optioned project. Congratulations to all participants and a special congrats to the winners!
