Universities are great for their faculties, courses, labs and opportunities. Often they are great also for their students. Surely, one of these is the Ca’ Foscari University of Venice (Italy) with its lively and dynamic MARKETERs Club that has already spread across the country in many other atheneums.
The club gathers students from many universities, all sharing the same passion for marketing, communication and innovation. In particular, the Club promotes and organises three main events throughout the academic year, with the support of the Ca’ Foscari University and the Italian Marketing Society (SIMktg).
All the events organised by the Club are designed, managed and promoted by the students themselves. The last one held in April – MARKETERs MAKEIT!18 – invited hundreds of participants to focus on four main industries where the Made in Italy excels, with the presence of various guests including Pirelli, Foscarini, Fico and – as mystery guest – Desall.
Coming up this June 13th is the MARKETERs Day 2018! The theme for this long-awaited day full of talks, special guests, workshops and networking activities will be “A matter of CreARTivity“. All activities will take place from morning till evening in the picturesque and cozy atmosphere of Venice, in a marvellous green area of the economic campus.
The previous edition of the event had more than 400 attendees, including members of the Club, entrepreneurs, professionals and guests. To date the Club has welcomed guests in the likes of Facebook, Harley-Davidson Motor Company, Rockin’1000, Cane Secco and many others.
The 5° edition of the event – taking place this year – will focus on the art industry, where visual and digital are play an ever increasing role, and will deal with street art, photography, cinema and graphic design, involving brands and companies that are really making a difference in this industry. Surely the expectations are really high!
As for us, we’ve already reserved our seats to follow closely the event and we hope many of you will follow suit!
