Injection Design Award – New idea winner

Well begun is half done, as the saying goes. Injection Design Award has begun very well and the 142 accessory concepts we received for the New Idea phase prove its success, so thank you all for joining the competition!

As many of you already know, the aim of the contest is identifying and designing a new accessory for the office which includes the use of the injection moulding technology patented by Uniteam. The entry that is declared winner of this phase will be developed by the community through three more stages: product design, naming and packaging.

That’s why Uniteam evaluated all the projects taking into account not only originality, feasibility and consistency with the brief, but also development possibilities and if the concepts were designed to exploit the potentialilties of their One Shot technology.

Since more projects suit these criteria, Uniteam has decided to give 13 Honorable Mentions to the concepts which have drawn more their attention and to display them in their headquarters showroom.

1st PRIZE – Office Innovator

Award: 1250 €

Client comment: Wave stands out for its potentiality and simplicity. It is an original and minimal platform that can be used for different purposes (mousepad and desk organizer) but it lets the possibility to imagine and integrate other functions in the next phase too. Its versatile nature requires different materials and in this way it perfectly exploits our One Shot technology.
