Times has come for the next issue of our Spotlight. This month we have four new talents to present, coming from four different countries!
In fact, have you ever wondered how many countries our Community has reached so far? Well, that will be the topic of another post! For the moment, enjoy the selection of May.

Sanjafer aka Sanja
student from Croatia

A selection of her works:

Sanjafer_1Hong Kong – Motives
One more please! – All the people I know drink coffee. I don’t. Seems to me that time spending drinking coffee is very important (since coffee time is very special to them). I think that coffee mugs must be special also, giving them one more reason to love even more the time they spend drinking coffee and enjoying it.
If coffee is great and the mug looks like no other, people will be much more satisfied and happier, and they will come back soon.

Sanjafer_2Tea Time
-Hey Newt, what’s up? – asked Hitch
– My head hurts. Apple season. Why is Charlie hiding?
– He can’t listen Charles’s theories any more…something about evolution and monkeys…
– I studied those things. You have not. – added Charles.
– Shh Charles…let’s hear this Ziggy guy sing.

…a project about seeing London through your eyes.

AntonioLanzillo aka Antonio Lanzillo & Partners
senior designer from Italy

A selection of his works:

AntonioLanzillo_1ILLY-MACHINE
The ritual of the coffee vending machine in the office or at the railway station (or etc) becomes the main way to communicate the Brand and the new product efficiently.

Built with cardboard triple wave and using the new technology of direct printing on cardboard; the printing cost will be decreased.

We would like to throw down a challenge to ILLY: why don’t develop a Illy Vending Machine completely working with innovative features?

AntonioLanzillo_2Temporada
Timepieces collection with swiss movement for man and woman inspired to car racing.

.aotta aka Misha Repin, Tanya Repina, George Plyassov

A selection of their works:

aotta_1.crabby
Advantages:
The ability to build tanks in any order, the ability to install handle any capacity, the ability to organize spoons and forks at any capacity. Ability to lift silicone rim with legs and put it under the tank to the plate did not slide on the table.

Basic Materials:
Colored silicone surface with soft tach, glossy transparent polypropylene. The inner part of the metal thermos bottle or plastic.

aotta_2Ellisse collection lounge furniture
The collection is inspired by human’s natural wish for privacy and being in the movement at the same time. We often wear sunglasses to hide ourselves from direct looks, we tint glasses in our cars, slip on hoods or even veils for greater mystery.
We don’t like to sit back to the passage in the office, but just like animals we like to rest under a cozy cover.

KPDESIGN aka Jasmina
designer from Slovenia
KPDESIGN_spotlight_stats_666x380-01

A selection of her works:

KPDESIGN_1BUGY
The measuring object (tool) reminds on an insect and there is the name coming from – Bugy.It is a very simple design made of a 3 cm MDF board, it has a tubular front leg and a seat that could for sure be made from the company Selle Royal. There is a handle for changing the riding position and the other changes can be made for the legs, depending on the height of the rider.
Bugy is user friendly, easy to use and fun measuring object.

KPDESIGN_2Lighthouse
The candleholder inspired by the lighthouse.
The intention was to show two different shades or finishes of concrete on one surface.
The stripes are inspired by the ones that we can find on the lighthouses – horizontal and under angle.
The glass part is warm orange (retro) that goes fantastic with the coldness of concrete.
Beautiful centerpiece for every table.

Stay tuned for the next Spotlight!
