Surely it proved a very interesting contest for you guys, with 256 different projects presented for “Your Umbrella, Your Perletti“, the international call for entries launched in collaboration with.. well, Perletti.
The competition was intentionally left open in terms of output, giving the chance to participants to explore new designs and approaches across various elements forming the umbrella. In particular, one could work on the handle, the tips, the top, the ribs, the case, the closing strap, the canopy or any other additional element or accessory.
In fact, thanks to this variety of elements the competition by itself targeted a very broad range of creatives, from product designers to architects, from graphic designers to artists and engineers too.
Altogether participants came from 37 different countries, each trying to interpret in her very own way how the brand could be easily recognised with a new iconic umbrella. Somebody focused on the canopy, someone else on the handle, others on accessories.. some others proposed a whole new restyle of what we call umbrella…
So many congratulations to all participants for your great response to this challenge.
Still, one most of others caught the attention of Perletti for her very unique touch and style. Today we are very glad to present you the winner!
