Future Oven Design – Winner announcement

BLOG_BADGE-666x250_Banner-72WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT – we’re very thrilled to announce the results of Future Oven Design, the international call for entries launched in collaboration with the Italian company Anodica Trevigiana Spa, active in the design and manufacturing of home-appliances components since 1962.

The competition was characterised from the very beginning by an explorative standpoint, inviting all participants to look at the future of the kitchen, in particular at the future of ovens. From that assumption, participants had to envision how components would be affected, leveraging on the company know-how and technology.

As expected, the challenge was welcomed with great excitement, reaching 118 participants from 32 different countries, for a total of 158 projects submitted for the competition. Surely an impressive result for such a focused and niche topic. The Sponsor was really satisfied with the overall results and we are pleased to share their comments:

We were rather impressed by the number of projects we received. From a Design standpoint, the oven is the key appliance of the whole kitchen; it was a pleasure to see the wit and the innovative ideas, sometimes even rather extreme, that participants from around the world came up with. It wasn’t easy for us to pick one winner only.
A special thanks goes to Desall for the management, but  most of all we’d like to thank all the Designers. See you on the next contest! – Marco Bioses (Sales & Marketing Manager @ Anodica Trevigiana s.p.a.).

Many of you must be wondering now about the final results … so we’re very glad to present you THE WINNER and 2 SPECIAL MENTIONS!
