What a pleasure to announce the winner of Martinelli Luce Lighting Contest!
The whole community went crazy at the idea of joining a challenge sponsored by a true icon of Italian design, and for good reasons. For the past 70 years, Martinelli Luce has been creating timeless lamps inspired by the world of nature and geometry (just think of the Pipistrello and Cobra lamps). Not surprisingly, we collected as many as 500 projects proposals, with the brief reaching 119 countries all over the globe.
We would like to congratulate all participants for the amazing job. It’s refreshing to see so many young talents enthusiastically pushing the boundaries of lighting design – bravo!

CONTEST WINNER
Congratulations to Théo Rousset for winning Martinelli Luce Lighting Contest with the project “Coperchio”. Théo is a French design student currently enrolled at the Ecole de Design de Nantes Atlantique, France, completing a master’s degree in product design and looking for an exciting internship opportunity (clearly, he’s got potential!).
